NC06 – Elk River Airport

NC06 is a private airstrip located just outside the town of Banner Elk, NC. The only runway is 30/12 (4600×75 ft or 1402/23 m) which slopes downward from 30 to 12. Approaches can be made from either end but 12 is preffered for landing while 30 is preffered for takeoff. The approach to either end of runway 30/12 is notoriously challenging due to the surrounding terrain. Even given the difficult approach and narrow runway it is not uncommon to see light jets and high performance turboprops maneuvering their way into this small field.

Resurfaced everything to better match the real airport
Custom 3D models for all hangars + other miscellaneous objects
Realistic terraforiming on the runwway
Repainted lines for the entire airport
Removed a lot of satellite artifacts and random windsocks
Added/removed trees where appropriate
A lot of other miscellaneous stuff…

Known Issues:
Might not work with AI traffic
