Chelatna Lake Lodge (OQO) Alaska v1.0

Chelatna Lake Lodge is located one-hundred scenic miles northwest of Anchorage, less than an hour’s flight away. The fishing lodges are accessible only by airplane (float or GA); there are no roads.

This scenery brings to life an absolutely stunning private resort located on the southern end of the Chelatna lake about 30 miles south of the Denali range. Sadly left out by MSFS because the location on Bing maps is barren. The video link included shows what Chelatna Lake Lodge is really like!

Custom lodges, boats, outbuildings, wildlife and animations bring this scenery to life and was built from scratch and was host to the Bush League Airline ‘end of mission’ celebration this weekend. I must really get the cleaners in to clean up their mess !

It is worth waiting by the lake to see the display that happens every night between 18:30-20:00 local time, it would be the highlight of my trip should I ever get the opportunity to see it in real life.

3rd party libraries have been used to populate the resort and the nightly display is provided by support from PuffinFlight and ThealX.

I have used a few assets from the Tatitna airstrip scenery mod I’ve also posted and would recommend including that scenery in your community folder to fully enjoy the Chelatna Lake Lodge scenery
