Singapore Speed Run v1.0
In honour of the GOTY sim update, and the Reno Air Races DLC, here’s a challenge… The Singapore Speed Run, One lap of the island in a CCW direction, taking off from Seletar Runway 03, and then:
A hard left once over the Johor Straits, following the waterway all the way to Tuas Corner, all the while hugging the Singapore coast and staying in Singapore Airspace.
After the Tuas turn, over the water towards the north side of Bukom Island,
A bank to the right to clip the southern coast of Sentosa
Along the East Coast Parkway waterfront toward Changi
Hooking a left at Changi Bay Naval Base
Left again at the breakwater near Changi Exhibition centre
A bank right towards Pulau Ubin
A bank left to follow the northern coastline past Changi beach
Slowing down as you pass Coney Island
Setting up for a landing on Seletar runway 21
Throttle up your engine, start your timer when you release the parking brake. The timer stops when you’ve landed and have come to a full stop.
To help with this challenge I have put a series of traffic cones in the water (a la Red Bull Air Race pylons) to mark the route for those unfamiliar with the Singaporean place names. Simply fly over or just next to these markers and you’re good to go!
