Itasca – Chicago Suburbs v1.0
This is my second in my series of Chicago Suburban Mods. As previously noted, much of the imagery and building models anywhere West of I-294 in the Chicago area use the “generic” MS polygons and building models (exception being O’Hare if you download the detail pack for that), and my intent is to bring improved mods to some of these select areas. This mod includes most of Itasca and its office complex in the W/NW Suburbs.
Detailed Features in this mod include:
– The Gallagher Building, at 395 feet, is the second tallest suburban office building in the Chicago area and second tallest building in Illinois outside of the Chicago City Limits. ***This was entirely missing from the game being displayed as a minor 3 story polygon
– Itasca Office Complex including landscaping improvements around some of the various office towers
– Improved Detail of intersection of I-290 and IL 390
– Night lighting of office complex
