Sheffield Meadowhall & Arena v1.0
A work in progress of buildings around Sheffield Arena, Centertainment, Meadowhall and up to Magna in Rotherham using Google Maps photogrammetry.
Meadowhall was severely lacking in MSFS with the car park being seen as a building yet not Meadowhall itself!
Credits go to Flying Theston on YouTube for his various tutorials. The methods used here and further credits are the MapsModelsImporter by eliemichel and the Blender2MSFS toolkit by Vitus. Recoloured in Lightroom to be as close as possible to MSFS.
To install extract the uksheffieldcoretskmeadowhall folder in to the Packages/Community folder.
Future plans for the addon are for night lighting and more of Sheffield’s steel industry (Forgemasters etc) possibly out towards the AMRC as well.
Also if I have time to learn then some LOD so it isn’t such a hog.
Any suggestions welcome (including what colours Meadowhall illuminations should be lit up in!).
Known Issues:
·IKEA needs moving / rotating, currently due to it being incorporated in all as one “Meadowhall South” package.
·Currently no night time lighting, just uses base MSFS lighting.
