VHHX Checkerboard lighting fix v0.1
Overview
This mod restores the iconic checkerboard hill lighting that was present in earlier versions of Microsoft Flight Simulator and is currently missing and obstructed in MSFS 2024. It also removes the building located directly in front of the hill, allowing the checkerboard lighting to be fully visible again. The goal of this mod is to improve realism, landmark visibility, and nighttime immersion.
(Please note that the distance the lights load in is based on your LODs since these lights are linked to the VHHX airport)

Installation
Download the mod archive
Extract the folder
Place the extracted folder into your MSFS 2024 Community directory
Future plans
Change lighting color to be more accurate and adding actual light fixtures instead of magic floating light
