Flensburg City Scenery Package by Rbflens & Muehli61 v1.0
Discover Flensburg in the far north of Schleswig-Holstein (Germany), a historic port city near the Danish border. Our scenery primarily highlights the intricate, maritime character of the harbor situated on the Flensburg Fjord. With handcrafted maritime scenery objects, we emphasize the significant influence of Scandinavian architecture. Furthermore, we present the Naval Academy in Muerwik, a handcrafted example of imperial architecture dating from 1910. Part of this complex now forms the Sonwik Marina, which we have also painstakingly recreated by hand. The Flensburg scenery is rounded out by the districts surrounding the harbor. The Flensburg-Schäferhaus airfield (EDXF) in the west of the city is bordered by Flensburg-Weiche. We have recreated the character of this district with many handmade objects in low-poly quality, which have a positive impact on smooth, FPS-friendly takeoffs and landings when traffic-patterning around EDXF.
For use in Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 and 2024: Extract the contents of the “Scenery_Flensburg_city_package_by_rbflens_muehli61” ZIP folder into your community folder (12 scenery files and 1 readme.txt file).
Important: Other or older versions of the city of Flensburg are not compatible with this new “Scenery_Flensburg_city_package_by_rbflens_muehli61” and must therefore be deleted from the community folder.
My older, separate scenery packages EDXF traffic circuit (2020) and EDXF_traffic-circuit_flensburg-weiche-2024 are already included in this “Scenery_Flensburg_city_package_by_rbflens_muehli61” and should also be removed from the community folder.
