EKVG – Vagar Airport – Faroe Islands v1.0

EKVG – Vagar airport in the Faroe Islands.

This isn’t in the sim so I’ve created it. The airport buildings and outline of the runway are in the sim but Bing’s imagery was too appalling to identify it.

This has been done freehand mainly and it shows. The topology is a little off but I preserved the original buildings the sim auto generated and it needed tweaking to fit.

A rogue lake many metres high bordering the airport needed taking down a peg or two so if you spot flying cars nearby that’s the reason.

This is a work in progress and there are a fair few details missing or needing cleaning up with lots of wobbly lines and runway and apron lumps and gradients where there shouldn’t be that I’ll get around to soon.

I still have plenty to learn so things like approaches, ATC, ground services, better hills etc all need work, or may not work at all.
