EFIT – Kitee Airport v1.0

Location: Kitee, Eastern Finland

Kitee is a small GA airport with a big 1500 m runway and lighting (runway, taxi and apron) close to the Russian border. Theres GA and glider activity. Scenery around has a lot of lakes.

I’ve only used vanilla objects as I’m not familiar with 3d modeling. I’ve edited elevation, drawn roads and 2 race tracks (theres 3 of them around the airport, third will be drawn in v1.1.), handmade all treelines around the airport to make trees smaller, more detailed and to be able to see underlying dirt roads and race tracks. Overall I tried to make it as realistic as possible without custom 3d models.

To install simply copy the folder iikke-efit to your Community folder.

Please let me know if theres any bugs. Apron lights and race track lights are too bright for sure, but I have no idea how to adjust the brightess of the lamps in the sdk…
