Upgrade Airfield scenery for EGXP RAF Scampton, Red Arrows Home, Lincoln, Lincolshire, England, UK.
“EGXP RAF Scampton” msfs map ident
This upgraded scenery was requested, so here it is. Based on images & information from RAF website.
Lots of improvements still can be made but the Airfield is now very useable so releasing now for all to enjoy. Still work in progress.
Improvements will be made & updates posted when ready. The buildings will be improved when models made or available.
The large C type hangars exist, just hoping/waiting for permission to use in scenery & will update when available. You can see in screen shots better models.
Airfield Ground has been cleared & completely remade. All aprons runways, new texture & lines painted. All parking areas & taxi ways marked & located correctly. Scenery models added, Hawk & Hunter etc added.
Nightime approach. Runway & approach lighting all operational. (Floodlights operational around parking ramps TBA. Street lighting also so nightime operation is possible TBA. Taxi way lighting still to be added TBA).
Parking for Cold starts
S Ramp 5 Parking (Mil Combat, Hawk Red 4)
N Ramp 8 Parking (Small GA, Hawk Red 7)
NE Ramp 14 (Small GA)
All original msfs models etc used.
Installation – After unzipping, place the complete “sac-airport-egxp-scampton” folder into your MSFS community folder.
