Installation
– Simply copy the folder, fakt-kittyhawk, to your MSFS Community folder.

Kitty Hawk Aerodrome, also known as Kitty Hawk Aero Estate, is an airfield in Pretoria, South Africa. It is situated to the East of the City, South of Cullinan, and act as a hub for the aviation community in the area. It contains several hangers for parking, charges no landing fees, has a restaurant in a unique clubhouse situated close to the center of the runway, and offers many of the amenities you would expect. There is a fuel bay that offers AVGAS 7 days a week.
Kitty Hawk is home to a flying school, aerobatic teams, and very often hosts aviation events, such as fly-ins and discovery days.

Notes:
– Broadcast intentions on 120.65 when East of FAWK CTR
– Be aware of turbulence, down draft and wind shear on approach to 01
– Poor radio communication between holding points 01 and 19- Occasional aerobatic practice occurs on Western side of field
– Beware power lines 2000m south of airfield, approx. 300ft above runway elevation
Author Notes
– This is a work in progress, so there are many things that will be improved
– The most important improvement that I will work on is redoing the main hangers and the clubhouse models and textures
– When the MSFS SDK allows more precise height editing, I will fix many of the awkward height issues, such as the apron area in front of the clubhouse being too low.
– Also, when the SDK finally allows modifying grass and no grass areas, I’ll fix the clubhouse itself having uncut grass inside the front of the house
– Add the power lines around the field that creates interest approaches
– Add detailed models for the other buildings on the estate, and surround
– Other small things
