AIRPAC1 FRED BD-5J RACING PACK v1.0
This is a Livery Package Only for Fred’s Freeware/Donationware BD-5J and does not include the aircraft files.
There are 4 Liveries available, Racer 3, Racer 4, Racer 5, and Racer 6. With the Upcoming MSFS RENO AIR RACING PACKAGE, I thought I would wip up a set of racing liveries. I chose these numbers so hopefully they would not conflict with the set of Racing Liveries I did for the Payware Version. They are purely fictional and I hope you will enjoy them. I have used a larger texture file format, to try and get cleaner graphics, although some of them may appear a little rough still, especially when viewed in 4K.
This Main folder includes a Custom Textures Folder. the Original Texture set for the Cockpit and Pilot along with my Modified Textures. If you know how to Modify, incorporate, or Swap out these files, they’ve been made available in a small organized package.
The ISSUE: These Racing Liveries have a Male Pilot. Rather than issue a really large file with excessive redundancy to clutter up your Community Folder, I have included the Custom Texture folder that I provided with my original set. If you prefer a Female Pilot then simple rename the FEMALE_PILOT.PNG.DDS, that is provided to MALE_PILOT.PNG.DDS, and swap it out for that file in theTexture folder and you should be good to go. You won’t see the Body Features but since the Developer removed the Pilot Visability while inside the aircraft, that shouldn’t be an issue, onless you are veiwing from the outside through a magnifying glass. If you prefer the Non-Gender specific pliot as I have provided in the original textures files, then just swap out the files with out renaiming since it already has the Male Pilot Modeling.
I will do my best to keep this livery set updated as the original Developer improves it. Enjoy!
