The National Gendarmerie acquired 6 units of the Turbo Porter model, manufactured in Switzerland, these arrived in the country between 1978 and 1979 due to its unique characteristics the PC-6 is used in landings on glaciers, in light transport tasks, parachute launching and aerial surveillance. .

GN-807 (Pilatus PC-6 / B2-H2), nº / series 805, made its first flight in 1979, incorporated by the Gendarmerie as National GN-807 on 10/10/1979 then deployed to the Aviation Support Section (SECAPOYAVI) in Rio Gallegos, Santa Cruz province, crashed after an unsuccessful landing in Gobernador Gregores, Santa Cruz, on 07/9/2000, Re-built and updated to the B2-H4 standard, returned to service in November 2014, deployed currently with the Flight Operations Section of Oran, province of Salta.
