This bush trip is a re-creation of a flight I posted way back in 2003 for the then-contemporary MS Flight Simulator. It follows roughly the old Route 66 from Chicago, IL to Santa Monica, CA. It would be helpful to have Little Nav Map running as you fly since MSFS SDK does not allow bush trips to retain the onboard flight plan. However, if you follow the headings and times, you should be able to fly the entire route. You will see much of America from its rolling plains, Its high plane deserts, and its majestic mountains. Ending at the gateway to the pacific ocean and possibly a “Beach Boys concert.” There are 15 legs to the journey lasting from 25 minutes to 45 minutes. Come ‘Get your kicks!’ on Route 66. Simply install by placing the folder and its contents into your Community Folder.
